More details to follow, the cocoons will need to be cleaned.
Terrific photography and information George. Have washed and cleaned the cocoons as you said in vermiculite and sand. After studying with a good magnifying glass, they appear to look good, lets just hope so. Looking forward to some good spring weather so that some of the cocoons can be put inthe box container under the tower. Saw the first big bumble bee Sunday, came into the greenhouse not particularly interested in the geraniums that are in flower, buy headed to the heathers that are in full colour in the garden.
Keep posting valuable info please George.
Bye for now – Marian
Hi Marian, Thanks for your kind comments..there is more to come! Not seen one bumblebee at all although I am glad and just hope that most are still hibernating……dreadful for them if they are n’t. Cheers for now, George
