The theme for this July’s Buzz Club competition is ‘hidden or rarely noticed’ insects in our gardens and parks.
Look closely, and there are dozens of bees, wasps, and hoverflies often overlooked.
We want you to take pictures of these unsung and often unseen heroes.

Rules
- Free to enter for all photographers.
- Work must be that of the entrant.
- Competition closes at midnight 31st July 2017 (BST).
- Images should be unmarked and no larger than 2000 pixels wide.
- Entrants should be able to provide a high-resolution image on request.
- Copyright remains that of the photographer.
- All entries may be used for publicity by the Buzz Club or associated parties.
- 3 photo’s maximum per entrant.
- The winner must be willing to be photographed holding the prize and have it used in promotional material.
- The winner has to have their prize delivered to a UK mainland address.
Prizes
- 1st place – Award winning solitary bee observation nest box from Nurturing Nature.
- Runners up – Signed copy of a new book published by Professor Dave Goulson, ‘Bee Quest‘, a Buzz Club tee-shirt, and a selection of other Buzz Club merchandise.
