Southern hawker (Aeshna cyanea) dragonfly hanging from branch in oak tree

 Normally patrolling areas, especially along hedges for insect snacks, for me it is unusual to see this dragonfly when it has landed. It was sheltering from the drizzle at Rixton Clay Pits, Warrington, hanging from a branch in an oak tree. Can you spot it? See below for a clue!

Did n’t spot it? OK, you may have better luck with this common darter dragonfly!!

The southern hawker is hanging with its head upwards, body towards the ground vertically, slightly to the left of the middle of the video! Good luck!
