Bird box or tree bumblebee (Bombus hypnorum) nest box!
This interesting concept can make it possible to watch tree bumblebees, Bombus hypnorum, oust blue or great tits from their nests by a using a very clever strategy, made more fascinating as a prey item ousts its predator! There are many features designed into the nest box, which not only benefits birds in its own right, it includes many features as found in the successful design of my bumblebee nest box. which shows the cat flap in action. It includes the anti wax moth flap which can protect the bees from one of their worst enemies, wax moths, Aphomia sociella and which children find fascinating! See video below……
