Interior of the worm hotel

Banks Road School now has its very own ‘Worm Hotel’, supplied by Garston Rotters Community Composting.

George Pilkington, an expert on worms, came into school last year to teach Year 4 how to look after them.

Filling the wormery

The children will have to keep the worms fed and watered and in return, the worms will provide us with compost to use on our garden.George has been working with our school for a number of years.
