A wildlife pond

Post image for A wildlife pond

I designed this pond for wildlife.  There are no fish to eat the numerous wildlife, insects and bugs etc. that would soon make this their new home. It has easy access for hedgehogs and other wildlife to come and go as they wish. In a short time this will be literally teeming with wildlife. Note the viewing platform to the left. The top left of the pond was made into a marsh garden, into which I planted different plants that liked to have their feet really wet!

All my articles, videos and work are funded by my teaching and sales of award winning bumblebee nest boxessolitary bee boxes,  and wormeries.
