INSECT FESTIVAL 2015 – SUNDAY 5 JULY 2015

Following the success of previous years the Insect Festival will be taking place in York again in July this year. IF15 on Sunday 5 July 2015 is a celebration for anyone with a fascination for insects – from exhibitors and traders to wildlife groups and the general public.

The event will start with activities before the Sunday and further details will be posted here as they become available. In particular we plan to have some activities on Saturday (4 July) evening. The Sunday event will take place at the Yorkshire Museum Gardens, with exhibits and a range of other stands and activities being held in the beautiful Pilgrims 14th century Hospitium and surrounding grounds.

Interest in IF15 has already been high and many of the exhibits and activities are being planned, however, if you wish to contribute or take part in other ways please get in touch with the organisers below.

Come and meet me attending the festival exhibition and have a chat!!

This was a really first class exhibition that was particularly well organised and ever so interesting, run by friendly and enthusiastic members of the Royal Entomological Society which was founded in 1833!
